First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic participated yesterday in Paris in the meeting of foreign ministers of the Berlin Process, as part of preparations for the Western Balkans Summit, to be held in the French capital on 4 July.

The foreign ministers discussed the current political issues related to the Western Balkans, the strengthening of regional cooperation, resolving the issue of migration, as well as security issues.
At yesterday's meeting, the ministers exchanged views on the issue of youth cooperation in the Western Balkans and the commencement of work of the Regional Office for Youth Cooperation, they evaluated the results achieved in the implementation of projects in the infrastructure and energy sectors that have been agreed at last year's Western Balkans Summit in Vienna.
The Western Balkans Summit to be held in Paris will be a continuation of the Western Balkan summits held in Berlin in 2014 and Vienna in 2015.
Dacic also met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of France Jean-Marc Ayrault.
Dacic and Ayrault assessed that bilateral relations are good, and Dacic highlighted the readiness of Serbia to develop and improve the overall cooperation with France, reads a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
