European integration most important foreign policy goal of Serbia

Belgrade, 9 May 2016

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic said today in a lecture to students of the Vienna Diplomatic Academy that the priorities of our foreign policy include European integration, regional cooperation and dialogue with Pristina.

Dacic emphasised the importance of the opening of accession negotiations and chapters in the negotiations for membership in the EU, as well as the chairmanship of the OSCE in Serbia during the previous year.

Te priorities of our country also include cooperation with key partners in international relations, development of good neighbourly relations and maintaining stability in the region and the construction of a modern Serbia dedicated to the preservation of peace and respect for international law, he said.
