"We celebrate Easter with the hope of a new beginning and with the faith for a better tomorrow. Regardless of our religious or ethnic background, we should work for the benefit of Serbia and every individual in the country, for the present and future generations.
Easter is a time of investment in unity and solidarity, a time of genuine respect and appreciation. I want the festive spirit of understanding and forgiveness to be extended to all citizens of Serbia, regardless of their religion, gender and nationality. In our difficult everyday life, Easter messages give us comfort, but also strength to be confident about the final victory and to boldly face all the difficulties that are in front of us.
Wishing that we overcome all the temptations and challenges, of which our time is full, with hope, faith and love, that the affiliation to the Christian teaching connect and unite us, I wish to all citizens of Serbia who celebrate Christ’s resurrection according to the Julian calendar to spend this greatest Christian holiday in peace and family happiness, health and wellbeing,” reads the letter of greetings of Minister Dacic.
