At the meeting they talked about European integration, Serbia's cooperation with NATO through the Partnership for Peace, the challenges we face in the context of the migratory crisis and the issues of regional cooperation.
Speaking about relations with NATO, Dacic stressed that the Republic of Serbia has no ambition to become a NATO member and that we want to preserve the position of military neutrality.
He reiterated commitment to developing partnerships with the North Atlantic organisation, through the available mechanisms and activities within the Partnership for Peace.
He stressed the importance of unimpaired presence of KFOR in Kosovo-Metohija as the key guarantor of security in the province.
The First Deputy Prime Minister emphasised the importance of NATO security guarantees that the so-called Kosovo Security Forces will not have access to the north of Kosovo-Metohija without the consent of KFOR.
In this sense, Dacic pointed out to a very important role that KFOR has in the implementation of the Brussels agreement and reiterated the commitment of the Republic of Serbia to enhancement of regional cooperation in order to preserve lasting peace and stability in the region.
The delegation of the Committee on the Civil Dimension of Security of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly was headed by Vice President of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly Lord Tom Michael Jopling and Rapporteur of the Committee on the Civil Dimension of Security and Vice President of the Bundestag Ulla Schmidt.
The delegation also comprised prominent parliamentarians from NATO member states and partner countries, according to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
