In the meeting, Dacic and Christides discussed prospects for closer cooperation between the BSEC and Serbia, notably in the context of Serbia's chairmanship of the organisation from 1 July to 31 December 2016.
They also considered the issue of reform within the BSEC so that it becomes more project-oriented as well as the participation of Serbian experts in the activities of the working bodies and the accession of Serbia to the rest of the agreements concluded in the framework of the BSEC.
The interlocutors assessed the need to continue with the present orientation of the organisation towards developing economic and other forms of cooperation in the interest of all member countries in the wider Black Sea region.
