First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic announced today that due to the security situation in some countries, the government of Serbia could, in the next two weeks, make a decision on the closure of three embassies.
Dacic told the press that the government should adopt a common position on what will be the fate of the diplomatic and consular missions of our country abroad.
According to Dacic, it is very difficult to make a decision on the closure of the embassies where we have political and economic interests and where our citizens live.
He announced that today and tomorrow he will talk to the families of killed Sladjana Stankovic and Jovica Stepic, and added that we need to draw lessons and take a united stance when it comes to the interest of Serbia and its diplomatic and consular missions in the world.
