Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic talked today in London with European Commissioner for Transport Violeta Bulc about the possibilities and importance of the regional transport connections.
Mihajlovic and Bulc met on the sidelines of the Western Balkans Investment Fair organised by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in London, which brought together the prime ministers of the Western Balkans, ministers and leading businessmen.
It was concluded that one of the priorities is the infrastructure project Merdare-Nis-Pristina-Tirana-Durres motorway.
For Serbia, the significance of this section is not only in linking Nis to Pristina, but the main connection to Corridor 4, which largely spans through Bulgaria and Romania, and to Corridor 10 and route Sarajevo-Podgorica-Vlora.
