Turkish investors interested in infrastructure projects

Belgrade, 11 February 2016

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic spoke today with Turkish Ambassador to Serbia Mehmet Kemal Bozay about possibilities for investment of Turkish companies in infrastructure projects in Serbia.

Bozay said that Turkish investors are particularly interested in three infrastructure projects, about which they learned in the “Book of Projects”, made by the Serbian Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure.

These projects are the construction of road sections Pojate–Preljina, Belgrade–Zrenjanin and Novi Sad–Ruma.

The Turkish Ambassador said that construction companies from Turkey with experience in road construction on several continents wish to know more about these projects, which is why they will soon meet with an expert team of the Serbian Ministry to examine possibilities for cooperation.
