Speaking at a session of a joint working group tasked with defining concrete measures for the improvement of Serbia’s position on this list, Mihajlovic said that considerable work has been done over the past year, which can be seen by Serbia’s advancement by 32 places.
At today session, it was agreed that this group also deal with concrete measures for the improvement of Serbia’s position in the report on global competitiveness of the World Economic Forum.
Mihajlovic announced that an implementation team will be set up, whose task will be to define measures for the improvement of Serbia’s position in this report.
She informed members of the joint working group that it is important that all ministries get included and give their contribution to the fulfilment of this goal, and referred to the success achieved with the issuing of electronic construction permits.
The issuing of electronic construction permits will considerably improve Serbia’s business environment and its position on the World Bank’s Doing Business list, the Deputy Prime Minister stated.
New members of the joint working group were presented at the session – Minister of Economy Zeljko Sertic and former Slovenian minister of the interior and public administration Gregor Virant.
