Speaking at a joint press conference with Austrian Foreign Minister Sebastian Kurz, Dacic underlined that migrants cannot be stationed in our country.
He said that it is of vital importance that countries inform each other on their decisions regarding migrants and that there are no surprises, but to have a predictable policy.
Kurz pointed out that Austria cannot receive refugees indefinitely, and specified that the upper limit for reception of refugees in Austria this year is 37,500.
If we set clear boundaries for the reception, there will be a new situation along the Western Balkan route, and the goal is to stop refugees at the Greek-Macedonian border, he stated.
It is important that Serbia be included in that process from the very beginning, Kurz said, adding that a number of Austrian soldiers and police officers will be sent to the Greek-Macedonian border.
