Positive trend in Serbia, US relations to be continued

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic wished welcome to newly-appointed US Ambassador to Serbia Kyle Scott today.
During the meeting, Dacic expressed satisfaction with the development of political relations and the level of mutual trust reached, and highlighted Serbia’s readiness to continue this positive trend during the mandate of Ambassador Scott.
The US Ambassador praised Serbia’s contribution to the preservation of regional stability and its constructive role to the migrant crisis.
Scott pointed out that the United States backs the European integration of Serbia and the negotiation process in Brussels, and voiced hope that the positive dynamics of bilateral relations will be continued in the coming period, reads a statement by the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
