On the sidelines of an informal meeting of foreign ministers of EU member states and candidate countries, Dacic and Szijjarto discussed the strengthening of bilateral cooperation between the two countries, primarily in the fields of the economy, energy and infrastructure.
Szijjarto said that Hungary will provide Serbia with technical assistance for capacity building in order to help our country meet the challenges of the current migrant crisis.
He expressed full support for the European integration of Serbia and added that already next week Hungary will give consent to the opening of negotiation chapter 23.
Also, Szijjarto expressed hope that chapters 23 and 24 will be opened by the end of the Dutch presidency of the Council of the European Union.
