First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic will visit Sofia tomorrow, where he will participate in an informal meeting of foreign ministers of the South-Eastern Europe (SEECP), which this year is chaired by Bulgaria.
The meeting is an opportunity to discuss current developments in the region and to confirm the commitment to joint action in relation to the most important issues for the region.
Also, it is planned that foreign ministers will adopt a joint statement on migration challenges.
Given the importance of the SEECP and the need for increased interaction with the EU institutions, the meeting, in addition to senior representatives of the participating countries in this process, will be attended also by representatives of the European Commission, a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reads.
