Dacic said that the EU has recognised the progress made in dialogue with Pristina and the results achieved in the fight against crime and corruption as the key criteria for the opening of EU accession negotiations, which begin on 21 January.
He explained that these values include the establishment of the rule of law and equality for all citizens before the law, regardless of their social status, financial power and political affiliation.
The Prime Minister announced that in addition to dialogue with Pristina, the key topics and criteria for European integration will be chapters 23 and 24 relating to justice, security and the fight against crime and corruption.
This government was formed on these principles, he said, adding that it is in the best interest of Serbia to pursue the policy of an uncompromising fight against crime and corruption.
The government's goal is to build a better Serbia, free of crime and corruption , and it will not give up these goals, Dacic concluded in a written statement to the public.
