First Deputy Prime Minister responsible for defence, security and the fight against corruption and crime and Defence Minister Aleksandar Vucic announced tonight that a strategy for fighting corruption will be adopted soon.
Appearing at Radio Television Serbia, Vucic said that the draft of the document has been completed and will soon be submitted to the Serbian parliament.
One cannot expect the country to be completely free of corruption, but we expect the European Commission report in March to give Serbia a good grade in the fight against corruption.
According to Vucic, the platform for negotiations with Pristina will be defined soon, which will soon be presented to opposition parties and the public in order to create a broad consensus.
He said that a meeting of the Council for National Security will be held tomorrow with President Tomislav Nikolic in order to discuss the platform.
The First Deputy Prime Minister said that the national platform for talks with
Pristina should be agreed on in the coming days or weeks.
