This is the first working meeting organised after the
investment-development conference in Srebrenica on 11 November 2015, at which Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said that the Serbian government will donate €5 million to help the municipality.
A five-member delegation from Srebrenica, led by Durakovic and President of the Assembly of the municipality Milos Milovanovic, presented the Serbian Deputy Prime Minister four projects that the municipality of Srebrenica selected as a priority.
These are the projects of construction of the kindergarten in Srebrenica, the construction of the demolished bridge on Lake Perucac with access roads, reconstruction of the six-kilometre-long main road in Srebrenica, as well as the construction of production halls in the industrial zone.
Mihajlovic said that the Serbian government will keep its promise and fund infrastructure projects that will improve the lives of citizens of Srebrenica and strengthen the good neighbourly relations between the two countries.
She pointed out that the talks about these projects would not be possible if there was no budget revision and fiscal consolidation measures.
Durakovic said that projects also have a symbolic importance for the citizens of Srebrenica.
He said that the projects were selected to cover different areas of importance for the development of Srebrenica, and will be implemented in the interest of all citizens.
The officials concluded that the operational teams of the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure of and the municipality of Srebrenica will work together to complete project documentation and clarify administrative mechanisms according to which projects will be implemented, according to a statement from the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure.
