First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic and Dutch Ambassador to Serbia Hendrik Gerrit Cornelis van den Dool agreed today that bilateral relations of Serbia and the Netherlands are on the rise and without open issues.

Dacic and Dool underlined that there is room for further improvement of cooperation in the field of the economy.
The First Deputy Prime Minister expressed satisfaction with the fact that the Netherlands is presiding over the European Council and wished it success in that job.
He noted that Serbia sees priorities of the Dutch presidency as important matters that should be solved and confirmed that Serbia will be a constructive partner in that process.
Dacic voiced hope that the Netherlands will continue to support Serbia in the opening of new chapters in the negotiations with the EU.
Dool presented to Dacic priorities of the Dutch presidency of the European Council in the first half of 2016 and informed him about the most important top level meetings which will be held in Amsterdam.
He said that he expects Dacic to participate in an informal meeting of foreign ministers of EU members and candidates, which will be held on 5-6 February, reads a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
