Concrete results of cooperation of Serbia, United States

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic and US Ambassador to Serbia Michael Kirby said today that cooperation between the two countries in the previous period has been successful, as confirmed by concrete results.
Mihajlovic said at a meeting with Kirby, who is ending his diplomatic mandate in our country, that the US support to Serbia, in many cases, was of enormous significance.
The introduction of direct flights to New York is one of the examples of good cooperation. She thanked the US Ambassador on his support and voiced hope that economic ties between the two countries will continue to improve because there is a lot of space for cooperation.
Kirby praised the efforts of the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure and the visible desire that the projects be completed.
I am happy that I will drive on good roads and that next time I will fly to Serbia on a direct flight from New York. In your Ministry I saw that you are very practical and that you have achieved tangible results to the benefit of Serbian citizens, the US Ambassador concluded.
