Serbia endorses investigation of attack on flotilla carrying aid to Gaza Strip

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated today that Serbia endorses the UN Security Council’s call for an immediate and impartial investigation into yesterday’s Israeli attack on a convoy carrying humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemns the excessive use of force which caused civilian deaths and calls for reservation and respect for international law so that conditions could be created for finding a peaceful solution to the current unsustainable situation of the Gaza Strip blockade, which affects innocent population.
In addition, the Ministry expresses sincere condolences to the families of the civilians who died during yesterday’s attack on the aid flotilla, it is added in the statement.
