eSignature (electronic stamp, electronic seal, electronic delivery, electronic storage, identification schemes)
In the world of information technology, a handwritten signature on a paper document as a proof of authorship and acceptance of responsibility for the contents of the paper document is replaced by electronic signature of digital documents. While a handwritten signature can be falsified, it is impossible to do it with an electronic signature. Electronic signing of the document allows the recipient of the document to verify the unchanged content i.e. allows the integrity of the signed document. Based on an electronic signature, the recipient of the document can determine the identity of the document signer, while the signatory may not deny signing of the signed document.
The Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications, among other things, is in charge of supervision of the implementation of the law regulating the electronic signature and the law regulating the electronic document. Application for signing the electronic document and verifying the electronic signature can be found on this link.
