Economic progress Serbia’s major goal for 2014

First Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said today that economic progress is the most important goal for Serbia in 2014, adding that a lot of work will have to be done to achieve better results in that field.
Vucic said in an interview with Podgorica-based daily Dan that a decent and normal Serbia is something that the government of Serbia strives for, adding that we are not far from such Serbia.
He said that getting a date for the start of negotiations between Serbia and the EU is a victory and success for all those people who understood the political messages well and who understand the place of Serbia.
Speaking about the negotiations between Belgrade and Pristina, which resulted in the Brussels agreement, the First Deputy Prime Minister said that the talks were difficult.
However, it is our job and responsibility to treat all problems seriously. I expect a better life for the citizens of Serbia in 2014, and especially in 2015. It will take a lot of hard work for us to be able to say that we have accomplished something, said Vucic.
