According to him, Serbia approaches this process with a clear goal, namely to strengthen ties with the EU, a community with which it achieves more than 62% of its economic exchange, a share that reaches as much as 77% with the region.
Serbia, as he noted, seeks concrete agreements on accelerating European integration, taking advantage of the current moment in which support for the enlargement policy is growing in several European capitals.
The Minister explained that he will seek support in Brussels for preparations to open Cluster 3, recalling that the European Commission has, for the fifth year in a row, recommended the opening of this cluster, which, as he noted, is an important message that should be valorised.
He called on EU member states to support Serbia, as opening the cluster would benefit society as a whole, stating that the government and state institutions will do everything administratively and politically possible to speed up the process.
