Prime Minister Ivica Dacic, Premier of China Li Kegiang and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban agreed today in Bucharest on a joint project of modernisation of the railway between Budapest and Belgrade.

Dacic, who is attending the Summit of prime ministers of 16 countries of Central and Eastern Europe and the Prime Minister of China in Bucharest, stated at a joint press conference with the prime ministers of China and Hungary that this is a chance to set high technology goals in the region.
He underlined that the railway route from Budapest to Belgrade is very important for our country, and noted that transit through Serbia depends on the modernisation of the railway and construction of motorways.
Kegiang stated that he made an agreement with Dacic and Orban regarding the project, and they also agreed to set up a working group straight away so that the implementation of the project could start as soon as possible.
