Ivica Dacic
Speaking at a joint press conference with First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vucic, on the occasion of one year since the formation of the government, Dacic said that it is a great success that Serbia has become a country that is appreciated around the world.
He pointed out that the Serbian government led an open and honest policy, and that its goals in the near future are economic growth and increased employment.
Also, Dacic said that the aim of the government is that Serbia be the next member of the EU, that people live better and that Serbia be a country of justice, with a more equal distribution of wealth.
The Prime Minister noted that he is pleased with the way the government has worked, adding that it held 87 sessions, of which none was a telephone one.
He added that the government passed 240 bills, and that it saved RSD 152 million in services and public procurement.

The First Deputy Prime Minister said that the most important goal in the future is modernisation of Serbia and reduction of unemployment.
He stressed that the most important achievement of the government of Serbia is that it has brought into the political life greater responsibility, seriousness and commitment to work and raised the bar when it comes to objectives and results.
Also, the First Deputy Prime Minister stressed the importance of starting negotiations on Serbia's membership in the EU.
He said that our country has started a decisive battle against corruption and organised crime, and underlined that two important strategies were made - a strategy for judicial reform and the fight against corruption.
