Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivan Mrkic said that on the long run up to 1,500 people will be directly or indirectly involved in the EU accession talks on the Serbian negotiating side.
Mrkic said in an interview with Belgrade-based daily Vecernje Novosti that dialogue with the EU will involve representatives of civil society, the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina and national minorities.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will also be included in the process, and the greatest role will be played by Serbia's Mission to the EU and the Ministry's EU integration sector, he said.
The talks on Serbia's EU membership will practically start with the arrival of EU Enlargement Commissioner Stefan Fuele and his delegation in Belgrade, Mrkic said.
