Speaking at a joint press conference with Speaker of Montenegrin Parliament Ranko Krivokapic, Dacic underlined that relations between Serbia and Montenegro are on the rise and that economic cooperation is good.
He recalled that a lot has been done in the field of police cooperation, and added that he agreed with Prime Minister of Montenegro Milo Djukanovic to visit that country in September, and to organise a summit of the two governments once a year.
Krivokapic, who is also President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, congratulated Dacic on the opening of negotiations with the EU and added that such steps can be made only if there is courage and vision.
He stated that Serbia has gone a long way when it comes to chapters 23 and 24, and that issues such as the construction of the motorway and reconstruction of the railway, which will give Serbia access to the sea through the port of Bar, will be practically resolved at the meetings of the two governments.
