Vucic said that he is therefore grateful to all who have supported the agreement, and added that the refusal of the document would mean a step backwards for Serbia.
He warned that Serbia would then be stopped on the road to Europe and slowly but surely isolated from the rest of the world, which would lead to stopping the entry of new investors in our country.
The First Deputy Prime Minister expressed confidence that on 28 June Serbia will get a date to start accession negotiations with the EU, which would bring many investors to the country.
As he pointed out, Serbia has a lot to do to improve the environment for attracting investments, including the adoption of a strategy for the fight against corruption and a set of judicial laws, as well as simplification of procedures for investment.
Vucic said that Serbia can in five years become a leader in the region, but it needs to get modernised, adding that the country has a chance to be an important partner both with the western countries and the Russian Federation.
