Kusturica wins French film award Cesar

Emir Kusturica’s film “Life Is a Miracle” and Ken Loach’s “Ae Fond Kiss” shared the Cesar Award for the best film from the EU granted by the French Academy for Cinema Arts and Techniques.

“L'Esquive” (The Dodging) by Abdellatif Kechiche was the winner of France's major film award, the Cesars, at the 30th award granting ceremony.
Sofia Coppola's “Lost in Translation” won the Cesar for best foreign film.
American actor Will Smith and French actor-singer Jacques Dutronc were awarded honourary Cesars.
