Improved accomodation conditions in juvenile prison in Valjevo

Minister of Justice and Public Administration Nikola Selakovic and CEO of International Management Group Egidio Dino Biciato signed the Protocol on the implementation of the project "Improving the quality of accomodation and capacity of the juvenile prison in Valjevo".
Selakovic expressed gratitude to the Kingdom of Norway, whose government is funding the project worth €3,219,039.
Serving a sentence has no purpose without quality facilities and capacity to live and work there, he said.
Given that juveniles who have committed a crime are a particularly sensitive part of the population, it is necessary to apply all European standards in this area, said Selakovic.
Biciato expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Justice and Public Administration for constant and successful cooperation in the implementation of projects in the field of justice.
Norwegian Ambassador to Serbia Nils Ragnar Kamsvag said that this project is part of a broader program "Improving access to justice in Serbia", financed by the Kingdom of Norway.
