Belgrade premiere of “Constantine”

As part of marking the Edict of Milan jubilee, Belgrade premiere of the play “Constantine” was held at the National Theatre and was attended by President of the Republic of Serbia Tomislav Nikolic, government ministers, Serbian Patriarch Irinej and diplomatic corps.
The play “Constantine” is based on the script by Dejan Stojiljkovic and is directed by Jug Radivojevic.
Project manager of "Edict of Milan 313-2013, Serbia" Slavica Trifunovic, who is also adviser to the Minister of Culture and Information responsible for international cooperation, said that the intention is to show the character and work of Constantine as well as the social and historical conditions when the Edict of Milan was passed.
After Nis and Belgrade, audiences across Serbia and abroad will be able to see the play.
