Vucic said at a press conference held in the Serbian government that this is not a question of the European road, but of the survival of Serbia, and added that Serbian citizens do not need to worry about it because the institutions of the state are for the first time stronger than any individual.
He said that the government has information about who met with whom, but has no data how come that one of the members of the drug gang of Darko Saric, Rodoljub Radulovic, who is now unavailable to the authorities, fled.
Vucic asked the former president of Serbia, Boris Tadic, who confirmed that he had controlled security services, where Radulovic is and why he was not arrested when it was possible.
According to him, today's demand of the Prosecution of Organised Crime to the police for collection of data in the case of Rodoljuba Radulovic shows that the Prosecution, the police and all competent authorities are doing their job regardless of who is in question, and who might be suspected or accused.
The institutions of the system shall take all measures within their jurisdiction, and no one should think that the things will be sorted out and that politicians are able to influence the Prosecution, the police and the courts, the First Deputy Prime Minister reiterated and said that the fight against corruption is not selective, which is to be confirmed in the upcoming days.
Vucic said that the drug boss Darko Saric will have a fair trial, but also added that no deals will be made.
He pointed out that at the time when it was formed the new government found only three cases in the Prosecutor's Office, while today there are between 30 and 40 in the operative treatment.
