Zoran Martinovic
Martinovic told a press conference held after the meeting of the Social and Economic Council that the amendments to the Labour Law should be on the agenda of the government by September or the end of 2013.
The social partners are familiar with what should be subject to amendment of the law, he said, noting that there are many different views on some outstanding issues, which is why a longer period for adjustment and agreement is needed.
Vice President of the Association of Independent Trade Unions of Serbia (SSSS) Dusko Vukovic said that the Labour Law is a systemically important law regulating the rights and obligations of employers and workers, adding that a topical discussion is necessary.
