Speaking at a press conference held at the government, Ilic said the current management of Jat is not capable of leading the company and that the coalition partners will have to change the company's management.
The Minister said that after last night's negotiations, government representatives accepted all demands made by the trade union of the Railway Transport Company Belgrade, apart from sections of a demand that first must be scrutinised by professional services. He said that an agreement between representations of the Ministry of Finance and trade unions has yet to be reached.
Ilic added that the government approved a proposal for granting concessions for construction, use and maintenance of the highway Horgos-Pozega: the Belgrade-Pozega, Horgos-Novi Sad and Novi Sad-Belgrade sections.
He announced that a Ministry delegation will go to Geneva in mid-March to discuss the government of Kosovo’s attempts to get separate telephone area code for Kosovo outside the Serbian uniform telephone system.
According to Ilic, the Fund for Kosovo-Metohija will direct the means according to needs, mainly for water and power supply, infrastructure and housing problems.
Serbian Minister of Justice Zoran Stojkovic said that the government agreed that customs service should be abolished on the administrative line with Kosovo-Metohija. He noted that special tax bodies will be appointed to monitor the goods entering central Serbia.
According to Stojkovic, the government adopted a bill on the liability of producers of factory seconds, which is harmonised with the Law on protection of consumers and as well as with EU legislation.
He also said that the government condemned the bombing attack on the car of Oliver Ivanovic, head of the Serb List for Kosovo-Metohija, in Kosovska Mitrovica yesterday.
