The Ministry said that the parties undertake to create favourable conditions for active cooperation in the field of culture and arts, through the establishment of direct contacts and communications between both artistic and cultural experts, and between the competent authorities of the two countries.
The programme includes cooperation in the field of music, theatre, cinematography, museum exhibitions, library and publishing and the protection of cultural heritage, as well as the exchange of information on international folklore festivals and events in the field of amateur creativity.
At the meeting it was agreed with the Minister of Culture of Belarus on how to organise the Days of Serbian Culture in Belarus and Petkovic suggested that organising the Days of Belarusian film next year in Belgrade.
Petkovic will also meet with Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Anatoly Tozik and First Deputy Information Minister Lilia Ananich.
He will also visit the National Library of Belarus, which in the future will cooperate with the National Library of Serbia with which it had signed the Protocol, which is part of the Programme of cooperation in the field of art and culture in the period 2012-2017, the statement added.
