Petkovic to attend UNESCO ministerial conference in Sofia

The Ministry of Culture and Information stated that Minister Bratislav Petkovic will attend the 8th ministerial conference of South East European states, organised by UNESCO on 24 and 25 October in Sofia, titled “Intangible Heritage in South-East Europe as a bridge for sustainable development”.
During his stay in Sofia, Petkovic will meet with UNESCO Director General Irina Bokova and ministers of culture from Bulgaria, Vezhdi Letif Rashidov, Montenegro, Branislav Micunovic, and Macedonia, Elizabeta Kanceska Mileska.
State delegations from Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Greece, Italy, Montenegro, Moldova, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Macedonia, and Turkey will attend the conference, along with the Armenian delegation, which holds observer status, and the EU delegation in Bulgaria.
