57th International Belgrade Book Fair opens

Minister of Culture and Information Bratislav Petkovic last night attended the opening of the 57th International Belgrade Book Fair.

Petkovic said that the Belgrade Book Fair is one of the largest book events in Europe after the Frankfurt fair.
The fair was officially opened by Serbian poet Radmila Lazic and Hungarian writer Noemi Sechi.
This year’s fair will be open until 28 October and will gather over 800 participants, including around 500 direct exhibitors, 60 of whom are from abroad.
More than 30 exhibitors from Kosovo-Metohija will also participate in this year’s fair.
