Dacic said at a press conference after the joint session of the two governments held today in Banja Luka that the meeting focused on a number of concrete important issues.
The Serbian Prime Minister said that all decisions made today are in the interest of Serbia and Republika Srpska.
He instructed the Serbian ministers to improve cooperation with Republika Srpska and to have that as their daily task, because that is the only way for our relations to be special and parallel.
Republika Srpska Prime Minister Aleksandar Dzombic stressed that cooperation with Serbia is good and that Republika Srpska’s strategic interest is to cherish and promote that cooperation.
He said that in today's meeting it was agreed that the companies "Gas RES" and "Srbijagas", as well as relevant ministries, sign the memorandum of understanding soon.
Also, it was agreed that the Drina hydro power project is revised within 30 days, to be followed by its implementation, said Dzombic.
According to him, the ministries were ordered to make an agreement on cooperation between the electric power industry of Serbia and Republika Srpska within 30 days.
An agreement was reached that in the next budget year, Serbia and Republika Srpska provide funding for the reconstruction of three bridges – near Zvornik, Bratunac and in Skelani.
The two governments also discussed the construction of a new bridge Bacevci-Bakovici, he added.
He pointed out that one of the main topics was the project "Podrinje", which will connect the municipalities on both sides of the Drina.
He also announced opening an air connection between Banja Luka and Belgrade from 1 December.
