Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dacic said today that he expects the upcoming European Commission report on Serbia's progress in European integration to be objective.

Dacic said at a press conference held after a meeting with Slovak Deputy Prime Minister for European Affairs and Minister of Foreign Affairs Miroslav Lajcak that the European Commission will present its report on Serbia in October.
The Prime Minister said that our country is ready for dialogue with Kosovo to be raised to a political level, and added that Serbia is willing to relax relations.
He said that we should not expect spectacular results from dialogue with the provisional institutions of the government in Pristina.
Dacic stressed that the solution to the problem requires goodwill and understanding.
Dacic said that the Serbian government will implement the agreement on integrated management of crossings made in Belgade and Pristina dialogue.
Lajcak pointed out that Serbia's European path and the Kosovo issue are linked, and said that he expects Serbia to a serious partner with its interests in dialogue with Kosovo.
He expressed satisfaction with the determination of the Serbian government to implement reforms and that it has the support of the Serbian parliament.
Lajcak announced that in New York during the UN General Assembly he will have a series of meetings related to dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina where he will present what he has heard today from Serbian officials in Belgrade.
