Serbian Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government Zoran Loncar said that General Lazarevic’s recent decision to surrender voluntarily to the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY) was described at today’s session of the government as a crucial new step forward in cooperation with the tribunal.

Loncar also said that today’s additional session was dedicated to the 6th meeting of the advanced standing dialogue, the last one prior to receiving a positive feasibility study. He noted that Deputy Prime Minister Miroljub Labus gave a report from the meeting.
Loncar said that Lazarevic will be accompanied by him as member of the National Council for Cooperation with The Hague and Minister of Justice Zoran Stojkovic on Thursday.
