All officers in chain of command of “Graduate 2012 ” removed from duty

Head of the Media Relations Directorate of the Ministry of Defence Milivoje Pajovic stated today that Minister of Defence Dragan Sutanovac removed from duty all officers in the chain of command who were involved in the preparation of the exercise “Graduate 2012” until the completion of the investigation.
Pajovic said at a news conference that the Commission set up by the Minister of Defence went out into the field to determine the circumstances of the explosion that occurred this morning at "Pasuljanske livade" training ground, killing two cadets of the Military Academy and injuring seven.
According to initial findings, it is assumed that one of the cadets found a leftover shell near the exercise site and brought it to the group that performed the exercise, after which it exploded, he explained.
