Markovic talks with Macedonian culture minister

Minister of Culture, Media and Information Society Predrag Markovic met in Skopje with Macedonian Minister of Culture Elizabeta Kanceska Milevska about the realisation of a Programme of cooperation in culture and arts signed this April.
Markovic presented the Macedonian Minister with a replica of a gold mask found on an archaeological site Trebeniste near Ohrid Lake.
The Macedonian Minister of Culture turned to the Serbian National Museum in Belgrade in October 2011 asking it to make four replicas of objects from Trebeniste site where the Belgrade museum conducted excavations in 1930.
As the objects in question are exceptional and very delicate, the National Museum was able to make a replica of one mask only.
Two portrait masks are kept at the Belgrade Museum and two others in Sofia.
