Cadets, civilian students at Military Academy to be educated in public finances

Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Mirko Cvetkovic and Minister of Defence Dragan Sutanovac today signed a protocol on the education of cadets and civilian students at the University of Defence – Military Academy.

Cvetkovic told a press conference following the signing that he is pleased that the two ministries signed this document on cooperation regarding the education at the Military Academy.
He said that the protocol refers to education in public finances which is important for the government and the entire country, therefore it is equally important that students at the Military Academy be acquainted with this remit.
This is an opportunity to familiarise Military Academy students with public finances and educate them through a series of practical and theme courses, the Prime Minister said.
Sutanovac explained that the protocol will enable cadets and civilian students to acquire the necessary education in public finances which is required for jobs in the public administration.
We educate cadets, but also those civilians who wish to work in public services and who need this kind of education the Minister observed.
Sutanovac underlined that the major part of students will be self-financing and not on state budget, but they will have the same education as those who graduated from a faculty of economics.
