The agreement on the donation was signed by Charge d’Affairs at the Japanese Embassy in Belgrade Kazuaki Kameda and Raca health centre director Dejan Milosavljevic.
Bulat told a press conference that the total amount of Japanese assistance to Serbia since 1999 amounts to €8 million, noting that a large portion of these funds were invested in the health care field.
He recalled that the government of Japan allocated €6 million to fight cancer, which enabled the purchase of two digital and 30 analogue mammograms.
Kameda said that health care is one of the main areas of interest of the Japanese government in Serbia and confirmed that Japan will continue supporting this sector.
