Dusan Nikezic
Nikezic told a press conference following the government session that revenues in the 2012 budget has been projected at around RSD 750 billion, and expenses at RSD 890 billion.
At the consolidated level, which includes the state budget and local self-government budgets, the targeted deficit is RSD 152 billion, or 4.25% of GDP, he said adding that the government passed a realistic, economic and frugal budget with elements of the anti-crisis politics.
The Bill on budget is undergoing legal and technical procedures and will be forwarded to the Serbian parliament tomorrow, Nikezic added.
He voiced his belief that MPs will have enough time to contemplate the solutions in the Bill, put forward their suggestions and adopt the document before the end of the year.
Nikezic thanked all ministries and other budget beneficiaries for their positive stance and constructive cooperation in the budget creation process.
Head of the Office of Media Relations Milivoje Mihajlovic announced that the government will soon discuss the documents about the agreement reached in the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina.
Mihajlovic recalled that dialogue is still under way, stressing that the government will strive to pass the acts which will be a basis for the implementation of agreements that have already been reached.
