Serbia will never recognise unilaterally proclaimed independence of Kosovo

Minister of Foreign Affairs Vuk Jeremic reiterated today that Serbia will never recognise the unilaterally proclaimed independence of Kosovo-Metohija.
Jeremic said in an interview for TV "Al Jazeera" that not all countries in the EU have identical views on Kosovo, because five countries did not recognise its one-sidedly declared independence. These five countries said that they will not do in the future either, he added.
He noted that the enlargement process is not the top priority for the EU and those things should be placed in a broader context of where the EU is heading.
Jeremic also recalled that dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina is in course, and expressed his hope that this process will continue in the future.
He explained that dialogue is aimed at solving technical issues, particularly addressing the question of improvement of life of Serbian citizens.
