Balkan council of culture ministers to be set up

Representatives of ten countries and the Nordic Council of Ministers met at a second expert meeting in Belgrade and decided to set up the Balkan council of culture ministers at their next meeting in Copenhagen on March 31.
The initiative to set up the council of culture ministers of the Balkan countries was initiated in October last year in Tirana.
The council will help Balkan countries integrate in the EU by way of cultural policies and strategies.
The Belgrade expert meeting was attended by representatives of Serbia-Montenegro, Albania, Macedonia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Greece and Turkey.
