Kusturica to preside Cannes 2005 jury

Film director Emir Kusturica will serve as president of the jury at the 58th Cannes Film Festival, between May 11 and 22 this year, the French association of the international film festival said yesterday.

Kusturica won the Cannes top award, Palme d'Or, twice, for When Father Was Away on Business, in 1985, and Underground, in 1995.
Last year’s jury was headed by American director Quentin Tarantino.
