Mihajlovic told a press conference, held after the government session, that the document will contain guidelines on the activities in order to stabilise the security situation in Kosovo-Metohija.
He recalled that under the Declaration on Kosovo-Metohija that the parliament adopted on 31 July, the government was obliged to submit a report on developments in Kosovo to parliament within 90 days.
The Director of the Office of Media Relations said that with the government will submit this report to parliament in upcoming days.
He said that the government at today's meeting did not discuss the problems of US Steel in Smederevo, but added that the government will do everything to preserve the jobs in that company and that the difficulties are overcome.
Representatives of the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development are in constant contact with the management of US Steel, he said.
Speaking on the Annex of the Contract between the Serbian government with the Italian company Fiat, Mihajlovic said that some parts of the document are not available to the public at the request of the Italian car maker because the release of some information would harm Fiat’s interests.
The entire Annex of the Contract is available to the independent regulatory body, Mihajlovic said, explaining that members of this body have access to the document, but cannot publish it because of the request from Fiat.
Government’s Public Relations Coordinator Slobodan Homen said that the Serbian government considers that the relations between Serbia and Croatia are best to be solved through mutual withdrawal of genocide accusations.
Homen said that it is essential that there is political will on both sides adding that in the event that this does not happen, Serbian will defend its interests.
