Mihajlovic said at a press conference, held after the government session, that the Serbian government is in constant contact with municipalities in the north of Kosovo-Metohija, the EU, UN and NATO and that it insists that tensions in northern Kosovo should be reduced and that KFOR should establish communication with the local population.
Incidents must be averted and things should be returned to the negotiating table, he said and urged KFOR and representatives of four municipalities in northern Kosovo to continue dialogue.
The Serbian government insists that KFOR should be enabled to have a regular supply and normal operation, provided that this mission acts in a status neutral way.
The government also insists that the international missions provide efficient protection to the Serbs south of the Ibar River, Mihajlovic underlined.
He stated that one Serb was killed today and two wounded in the village Dobrusa near Pec and that they were attacked by ethnic Albanians when they tried to visit their farms.
Mihajlovic requested from EULEX to investigate this crime and bring the perpetrators to justice.
At its session today the government adopted the Bill on ratification of the agreement between the governments of Serbia and Indonesia on the protection of investments and the Bill on ratification of the agreement on air traffic between Serbia and Armenia, Mihajlovic stated.
The government also adopted the Bill on ratification of the agreement between Serbia and Azerbaijan on cooperation in environmental protection.
Mihajlovic said that the Bill on ratification of the agreement on international transport of perishable foods and special means for their transport was also passed.
The Serbian government also adopted the Bill on ratification of the international convention on maritime privileges, the Director of the Office of Media Relations added.
Serbian government's Coordinator for Public Relations Slobodan Homen said that the government examined today the report of the European Commission on Serbia's progress towards European integration.
He announced that by the end of the year, the EU Integration Office will make a revised and reduced national plan for European integration, with which each ministry will be assigned concrete tasks in the further process of European integration.
