Speaking at the press conference Jeremic said that they discussed situation in the region, especially regarding European integrations and problems in the West Balkans.
The minister pointed out they came to an agreement that all problems must be resolved in peaceful manner and through dialogue respecting the needs of all parties involved.
Serbia maintains contact with all international institutions and uses all diplomatic means and capacities to resolve the crisis in the north of Kosovo peacefully, he said.
Jeremic asked the KFOR and the EULEX to refrain from using force and to comply with the UN Resolution 1244 and the six-item plan for Kosovo.
He invited the citizens in the north of Kosovo to express their democratic rights only by the means of peaceful protests.
Tuomioja underlined that he supports protests of Serbian people in the north of Kosovo since the right to peaceful protest is guaranteed by all international contracts and agreements.
He stated that Finland supports all countries in the process of the EU integration and pointed out that Serbia made great effort recognised by the opinion of the EC to grant Serbia a candidate status.
Serbia and Finland have good bilateral relations, Tuomioja stated and stressed that there is room for improvement, especially in trade and investments.
